NOTICE OF APPROVAL AND AWARD OF GUARANTEED ENERGY SERVICES AGREEMENT BY MILTON AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given pursuant to provisions of the Pennsylvania Public School Code of 1949 as amended, Pennsylvania Sunshine Act of 1986, July 3, P.L. 388 No. 84, as amended and Guaranteed Energy Savings Projects, Act 57 of 1998, Act 77 of 2004, Act 39 and Act 163 of 2016 in Title 62, Chapter 37, Subchapter E, that the Board of School Directors of the Milton Area School District will, at a Voting Meeting of the Board of School Directors to be held on January 21, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the Milton High School Literacy Café Board Room at 700 Mahoning Street Milton, PA 17847 to take action to approve and accept an Amendment to the Initial Guaranteed Energy Savings Agreement from SitelogIQ Energy Services, Inc. (“ESCO”). Scopes of work in this portion of the Guaranteed Energy Savings Project includes select upgrades to the mechanical systems at the Middle School. Limited work to plumbing, electrical, and architectural work will occur to support the mechanical scopes. The proposal and amendment to be accepted by the Board and the amendment to the agreement between the ESCO and the Board provide that the lump sum cost of the work shall not exceed $1,100,000. Members of the public are invited to attend the Board Voting Meeting as permitted by law.

The MASD Board of Education reorganization meeting, originally scheduled for December 3rd, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. with the regular meeting to follow, has been rescheduled to December 5th, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Both meetings will take place at the MASD High School Literacy Café.
