Late yesterday, the company informed the district of a data breach, stating that they secured their systems and notified law enforcement.

Instructure recently experienced a cybersecurity incident and notified our district that some Canvas data has been accessed. This includes names, email addresses, student Canvas ID numbers, and messages within Canvas. At this time, there is no indication that passwords, birthdates, or government ID numbers were affected.
