During the Spring, the Milton Area School District will engage in the Comprehensive Plan Development process.
The Comprehensive Plan is a required strategic planning process for school districts to engage stakeholders in a cycle of continuous improvement. This process not only meets Chapter 4 requirements set forth by the PA School Code, but it helps to frame priorities and provides the district direction over the course of the next three years (2026 through 2029).
There are multiple ways stakeholders can participate in the Comprehensive Plan development process:
Complete a survey. Employees, Parents/Guardians, HS Students, Community Members are invited to complete the survey, which will be open from January 9th through January 30th. You can access the survey by using the QR code or to this link.
If you are interested in participating in the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, please email Dr. Bickhart. The first meeting will be held on January 20, 2026, at 5 p.m., in the High School Literacy Cafe.
